Easy Rolling Clay

Clay sculpture

Part of my Splendid Strangers series

This piece has grown from a small study into a full figure.

I’m drawn to people who move through life in their own rhythm. Comfortable. Unhurried.

There’s something I enjoy about that kind of ease, a quiet confidence that doesn’t ask to be noticed, simply carrying on because it feels natural.

Tucked Away

Clay sculpture

Part of my Splendid Strangers series.

I am drawn to these small, unguarded moments, and to people who are at ease with their own ways, even when they sit slightly outside what is expected.

Clay sculpture

Part of my Splendid Strangers series

This piece grew from being delighted by people so full of ideas they can’t wait to get them down, even on the move. That kind of energy has a way of making you smile.

Quiet Wonder

Clay sculpture

Part of my Splendid Strangers series

This piece came from noticing people who still pause for small joys, even after a long life. I imagined him standing quietly, listening, letting a simple moment meet him where he is.

I’m excited to begin sharing these figures shaped around everyday people, gentle character, and quiet warmth.
